Churches United for the Homeless in Fargo/Moorhead has been selected by the RWM Quilt Committee to receive quilts that are purchased and donated today.

Their Mission is to provide Safe Shelter, Stable Housing, Nutritious Food, and a Path Toward Healing. Our values are to Serve with Heart, Engage Authentically, and Act with Courage to our neighbors in need that comes through our doors.
This organization is always in need of quilts.
Please consider purchasing a quilt for donation for this organization. Quilts may be left in designated areas at the chapel.

Please - ensure that there is “Donation” tag placed on the quilt if you are leaving it for donation.

  • All who have donated quilts, fine arts and given monetary support to the ministry of Red Willow. For 35 years, numerous individuals have shared their labor of love by thousands of hard working hands.

Q: When do I need to have my donations dropped off at camp?

  • All items for live and silent auctions need to be at the camp by Monday, August 22.

  • Deadline for delivery to drop-off site is Monday, August 15.

  • Items received after Monday, August 22 will automatically be placed in the silent auction and will not be included in the booklet.

  • Be sure to include the completed Quilt Auction Donation Form.

Q: What can I donate for the silent auction?

  • Small quilts and other sewn items,

  • Handmade crafts and handmade jewelry.

  • Canning and baking (baked goods may be brought to the camp the day before the auction).

  • Theme baskets.

  • Be creative!.

  • Be sure to include the completed Quilt Auction Donation Form.

Q: What if I need more raffle tickets?

Call Beth at the Red Willow Ministries office at 701-676-2681.

Q: What if i want an item and cannot attend the Sale?

​Download and submit the completed Absentee Bidder form for the Live Auction.

  • All absentee bids will be received by the Office Manager and sealed in envelopes until sale.

  • We will bid for you, up to your max bid, as though you were present at the auction.

  • The bid will be placed in the increment multiples used by the Auctioneers.

  • In the event of identical bids, the earliest takes precedence.

  • We cannot be held responsible for any errors in executing your bids.

  • Successful bidders will be contracted on or by August 31st.

  • Payment for successful bids must be completed within 1 week (cash, check, or credit card).

  • Auction item can be picked up at the purchaser’s discretion or shipped (purchaser must pay postage).

  • Absentee bidding form is for live auction only.

Q: What do I do with the raffle tickets I've sold?

Or bring the money and stubs with you to the quilt auction.

Q: How is the auction set up?

  • Silent auction opens in the chapel at 10 AM and closes at 2:30 PM.

  • A meal will be served in the retreat center dining room beginning at 11:00 AM.

  • Live Auction begins at 1 PM in the chapel. In the interest of time, the live auction is limited to 100 items; those items are chosen by the Quilt Committee.

  • Groups of tied quilts may be sold as one lot during the auction.

  • The raffle drawing will take place during the live auction.

Q: What can I do to help?

If you would like to serve on the Quilt Committee or volunteer during the last week and/or day of the auction, please call the camp office.

We want to grow the auction. Please encourage your church quilters plus your friends with quilting/cooking/artistic talents to share their gifts with Red Willow Ministries through donations to the auctions.
