Q: What size should my quilt be? 

Here are some suggested measurements:

  • Twin: 65x90

  • Full: 80x9

  • Queen: 84x92

  • King: 100x92Q

Q: When do I need to have my donations dropped off at camp?

  • All Items for the live and silent auctions need to at the camp by Monday, August 12, 2024.

  • Deadline for deliver for drop-off site is Thursday, August 1, 2024.

  • Items received after Thursday, August 12 will automatically be placed in the Silent Auction and will not be included in the Auction catalog.

  • Be sure to include the completed Quilt Auction Donation Form.

Q: What can I donate for the silent auction?

  • Small quilts and other sewn items,

  • Handmade crafts and handmade jewelry.

  • Canning and baking (baked goods may be brought to the camp the day before the auction).

  • Theme baskets.

  • Be creative!.

  • Be sure to include the completed Quilt Auction Donation Form.

Q: What if I need more raffle tickets?

Call the Red Willow Ministries office at 701-676-2681.

Q: What if i want an item and cannot attend the Sale?

​Download and submit the completed Absentee Bidder form for the Live Auction.

  • Absentee bids must be received by August 19.

  • We will bid for you, up to your max bid, as though you were present at the auction.

  • The bid will be placed in the increment multiples used by the Auctioneers.

  • In the event of identical bids, the earliest takes precedence.

  • We cannot be held responsible for any errors in executing your bids.

  • Successful bidders will be contracted on or by August 31st.

  • Payment for successful bids must be completed within 1 week (cash, check, or credit card).

  • Auction item can be picked up at the purchaser’s discretion or shipped (purchaser must pay postage).

  • Absentee bidding form is for live auction only.

Q: What do I do with the raffle tickets I've sold?

Mail the money and stubs to:

Or bring the money and stubs with you to the quilt auction.

Q: How is the auction set up?

  • Silent auction opens in the chapel at 10 AM and closes at 2:15PM.

  • A meal will be served in the retreat center dining room beginning at 11:00 AM.

  • Live Auction begins at 12:30 PM in the chapel. In the interest of time, the live auction is limited to 75 items; those items are chosen by the Quilt Committee.

  • Groups of tied quilts may be sold as one lot during the auction.

  • The raffle drawing will take place during the live auction.

Q: What can I do to help?

If you would like to serve on the Quilt Committee or volunteer during the last week and/or day of the auction, please call the camp office.

We want to grow the auction. Please encourage your church quilters plus your friends with quilting/cooking/artistic talents to share their gifts with Red Willow Ministries through donations to the auctions.

Q: How and what can I donate to the online auction?

If you have goods or services to donate, please use the online auction donation form. That form needs to be submitted by August 1. (See the special instructions on the bottom of the form.)

The list of things which could be donated is endless. Do you have a cottage business? Are you a farmer/rancher in the farm to table business? Are you in the service industry? Donations may be actual items or gift certificates.

The Quilt Committee will be designating quilts and other items for the live, silent, or online auction. The form gives you the opportunity to donate goods or services specifically for the online auction. Please communicate with the committee if you have questions.
